Thank you mountains

I'm driving north today with A. We've crossed through 5 different states since left our Florida home on Tuesday morning. Anticipation has been a common theme in our house this past week. Sometimes you just want to get to your destination! 

But as always I am reminded that this life is never about the destination. If that were true we'd always be looking forward. And surely we'd miss a lot of what is right here in front of us. I like to remind myself that tomorrow will always come, and I will always be there, wherever that happens to be!

I'd like to thank the Great Smokey Mountains of North Carolina for this generous reminder today to be present wherever I am.
